Abstract

1457312 Variable section fibre feed duct MASCHINENFABRIK RIETER AG 26 March 1974 [25 April 1973] 13316/74 Heading D1N In a pneumatically fed fibre feed duct with take off roller 2''' and having two narrow walls 6 and a wide wall 5, the wall opposite wall 5 is arranged to be a variable distance from the same across the width of the duct. This is achieved by substitutable inserts 7, Fig. 3, or by a flexible wall 9 which can be distorted by supporting bars 10 adjustable by spindles 11. The variation of duct section gives a delivered web whose weight varies across its width.
