Abstract

1456600 Vehicle headlamps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 28 Sept 1973 [28 Sept 1973] 42072/74 Heading F4R A reflector 11 of a vehicle headlamp has an opening 37 to receive an auxiliary bulb 25, the bulb being enclosed by a transparent envelope 29 which is glued into the opening so as to project into the reflector and the bulb-holder 21 being supported by a fastening ring 20 fixed to the reflector, a resilient cap 33 being provided for sealing the bulb-holder to the envelope. The cap has an inwardly directed lip 34 abutting the holder 21 and an annular edge 35 engaged over the end of the cylindrical portion 31 of the envelope. Various minor modifications are described in the specification.
