Abstract

1454380 Timing ignition ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 12 Dec 1973 [20 Dec 1972] 57508/73 Heading F1B [ Also in Division G1] The invention relates to a proximity-clamped transistor-oscillator-system producing pulses for ignition or fuel-injection systems. The pulse sequence, length, and form are determined by the shape of notches in a rotary clamping disc 3. A Hartley or bolpitts oscillator circuit may be used Fig. 1 (not shown) or Fig. 3. The oscillator is "self-biased" by a diode 4 and potential divider so that the working point of transistor 7 is set so low that a pulsating D.C. is produced. A threshold switch 34 may be provided for additional pulseshaping, and temperature compensation from resistors 37, 38 and diode 35. The bias diode 4 may be a capacitance diode Fig. 2 (not shown).
