1453614 Chemical apparatus WIDNES FOUNDRY & ENG CO Ltd 29 May 1974 [30 May 1973] 25804/73 Heading B1X [Also in Division F4] A process vessel comprises a receptacle 10 having a substantially cylindrical side wall and, extending over at least part of the interior of said wall, an array of hollow ribs 16 extending axially of said wall and defined by at least one section of sheet material secured at intervals to said wall, the section or sections being shaped to impart a corrugated configuration to the interior of the vessel, annular chambers 22, 24 being provided outside of the vessel, one for each end of the array of ribs, and communicating with the hollow interior of the ribs through openings 18, 20 in the receptacle wall.
