Abstract

1452496 Liquid servers J M SCHMIT 11 Oct 1973 [12 Oct 1972] 47585/73 Heading A4A [Also in Division B8] A liquid serving device comprises a liquid-containing pouch 4 positioned within a rigid container 1, the pouch having an outlet defined by a tubular member 10 secured to the flexible wall of the pouch, and the container having a pouring spout 14 which includes a tubular element 16 fitting within the tubular member 10. The pouch is disposable and is provided with its outlet sealed by the flexible wall of the pouch, the tubular element 16 piercing the flexible wall to open the outlet as the pouch is inserted in the container 1. The tubular member (10), is held, Fig. 5 (not shown) to the pouch wall by a resilient ring member (12) and the pouring spout 14 includes a slidable closure member 19.
