1451143 Toothed gearing ZAHNRADFABRIK FRIEDRICHSHAFEN AG 18 Feb 1974 [17 Jan 1974] 7312/74 Heading F2Q In a rack and pinion steering gear in which the rack 3 is guided and supported by a pressure element 4 mounted resiliently in a casing 1, the pressure element 4 has a lining 8 of plastics material, which may be polytetrafluoroethylene reinforced with glass fibres, the lining 8 being received in a frame 7. The lining 8 may be held to the pressure element 4 by a notched nail 9 or by a holding pin formed integrally therewith.
