Abstract
1449251 Pyrazolone derivative CIBAGEIGYAG 10 Sept 1973 [5 Oct 1972] 42538/73 Heading C2C [Also in Division C4] 1 - Phenyl - 3 - sulphomethylpyrazolone - (5) is prepared by the condensation of sodium sulphite and Y-chloroacetoacetic esterin aqueous solution, with phenylhydrazine at 80-85‹ C., followed by acidification to precipitate the product.
