Abstract

1449026 Warp-knitted fabrics GELSENBERG FASERWERKE GmbH 19 Dec 1973 [22 Dec 1972] 58896/73 Heading D1K A warp-knitted fabric comprises a knitted base of chain-stitches with laid-in wefts and two independent systems of warps respectively forming terry loops on other side of the fabric. The fabric may also include tricot stitches and the pile yarns may be laid in on a tricot pattern alternate loops being formed round an empty needle so that these loops are dropped on the next course.
