Abstract

1448075 Radiographic apparatus GEC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT Ltd 21 May 1975 [23 May 1974] 23125/74 Heading H5R A control system for a radiographic apparatus comprises controls for setting values of operating variables, a storage facility, means for transferring sets of values of operating values, e.g. suitable for particular views of selected parts of a body, into the storage facility and means for effecting an exposure in accordance with any of the stored sets of values. The values in the stores can be adjusted manually if desired or the control system can be used in a completely manual mode without reference to stored sets of values. The operating console may have displays showing the actual values of variables in use. The storage facility is preferably digital using magnetic cores or solid state devices.
