1446967 Cooling motor vehicle engines SOC ANON AUTOMOBILES CITROEN 21 Feb 1974 [21 Feb 1973] 8029/74 Heading B7H In a motor vehicle having an inlet aperture 2 for admitting air for cooling the engine of the vehicle, a number plate 4a pivotally mounted on the bumper 3 is movable between a position in front of the bumper and a position in which it abstructs the lower part 2b of the aperture 2. The number plate 4a carries the registration mark on both faces and clips 6, 7 releasably hold the plate in the two positions. In another embodiment the number plate is slidably mounted so that it can be moved upwardly or downwardly from a position in line with the bumper to obstruct either the upper or lower part of the inlet aperture.
