Abstract

1446340 Television transmission SIEMENS AG 8 Aug 1973 [11 Aug 1972] 37575/73 Heading H4M A television programme is transmitted over a carrier frequency telecommunication system together with two additional signals associated with the programme and the system by first forming the additional signals into respective primary groups, converting those groups into a second group at 312 to 552 kHz, converting that group to an intermediate position by modulation with a carrier of 6799 or 6324 kHz, combining the TV programme video signal with the intermediate signal and frequency converting the combination to occupy a position corresponding to two adjacent quaternary groups of the carrier frequency system.
