Abstract

1446237 Pharmaceutical composition HOECHST AG 19 Oct 1973 [19 Oct 1972] 48837/73 Heading A5B A pharmaceutical composition for oral administration comprises one or more pyrazolones and 5 to 40% by weight based on the composition of a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight within the range of from 2000 to 20000. The composition may also contain caffeine. Further pharmaceutically suitable carriers may be present. The preparation may be prepared by admixing the pyrazolone and the glycol, and forming the mixture into a unit dose e.g. by compression.
