Abstract

1445699 Two component diazotype materials RICOH KK 3 Oct 1973 [16 Oct 1972] 46086/73 Heading G2C A two-component diazotype material comprises a paper support, a layer of (a) an emulsion of polyvinyl acetate and/or a polyacrylic ester (b) a watersoluble polymer and (c) silica, kaolin, bentonite, clay, talc, calcium carbonate or TiO 2 as particles of 0À1 to 10 microns diameter; the ratio of (a): (b): (c) being 1:0À2-0À3:0À5-2; and a two component diazotype layer. Specified polymers are polyvinyl alcohol, carboxymethyl cellulose and starch. The material may be imagewise exposed and developed using a developer containing an amine and a glycol or a glycol ether or glycerin.
