Abstract

1444483 Delivering sheets HARRIS CORP 8 Aug 1974 [28 Jan 1974] 35095/74 Heading B8R Sheets delivered from a corrugator 18, Fig. 1A, in the direction 22 fall on to a conveyer 10 comprising rollers 20, 20<SP>1</SP>, Figs. 1A, 1B and 2, mounted on a frame 19, which feeds them at right-angles in direction 24, the right-hand end of the sheet moving underneath a plurality of conical stop members 70, and the distance between the members 70 and the corrugator being adjusted according to sheet length so that the leading edges of the sheets are engaged by the members 70 before any other part of the sheet touches the conveyer 10. To adjust the position of the members 70, a carriage 46 carrying them is moved on rails of the frame 19 by a motor 114, which at the same time moves the frame 19 towards and away from the corrugator, ramps 94, 96 being provided so that as the frame 19 and members 70 move towards the corrugator, they are also raised.
