Abstract
1443506 Rotary positive-displacement fluidmachines DORNIER SYSTEM GmbH 28 Feb 1975 [28 March 1974] 8451/75 Heading F1F In a trochoidal-piston compressor compressed working-fluid is discharged by way of at least one aperture 4 in the periphery of the piston 1, a passage 5, and either of orifices 6 formed in an area on a casing side-wall 12, or 13, coinciding with the inner envelope curve 9 of the trochoid. The said orifices may be provided in both of the side walls, a plurality of passages 5 being formed in the piston accordingly. An additional pair of orifices (6a), Fig. 4, (not shown), may be provided in each of the side walls, a proportion of the working fluid being ejected through these orifices at a pressure lower than that of the fluid discharged through the orifices 6. The aperture 4 may be oblique and extend through to one of the side faces of the piston, the passage 5 being omitted, Fig. 3 (not shown).
