Abstract

1441395 Portable containers HOECHST AG 22 June 1973 [26 June 1972] 29739/73 Heading A4A A container 2 for cooking, comprises a folded sheet 1 of a heat resistant inert plastics material held in shape by mechanical connecting means 4 not formed in one piece with the sheet 1 but received in holes 3 therein. The sheet 1 is a polytetraflouroethylene sheet between 0.05 and 1 mm thick and may be reinforced by glass fibres and pigmented. The sheet 1 may take various geometrical shapes and the edges defining the holes 3 may be reinforced with metal rings. The holes 3 are between 0.5 and 2 cm from the edges of the sheet 1 and between 1 and 20 cm apart and may be used to suspend the container 2, using string, above a fire. The container 2 may be covered by a lid formed in the same manner as the container 2. Various forms of connecting means 4 are disclosed, e.g. press studs, buttons, hooks, wires and clamps.
