1440969 Laminated magnet cores; transformers C N WHETSTONE 28 June 1973 47305/75 Divided out of 1440968 Headings H1P and HIT The disclosure is contained in Specification 1,440,968, but the claims embrace a magnetically soft laminate comprising plural layers of magnetically soft material interleaved with layers of an electrically insulating intermetallic compound, and to a method of making such a material by interleaving in a stack the plural magnetically soft layers with layers of a refractory non-magnetic metallic material and heating to form continuous layers of the insulant intermetallic compound bonded into a laminate with the magnetic layers.
