Abstract

1438976 Gas storage containers COMPAGNIE DES FREINS ET SIGNAUX WESTINGHOUSE 1 June 1973 [6 June 1972] 26252/73 Heading F4P A gas storage container comprises a cylindrical shell 1 and two ends 2, 3 one or both of which are provided with transverse mounting lugs 5 formed therewith. The lugs 5 have apertures 6 to receive fastening means and are preferably interconnected by recessed webs to enable two or more containers to be connected by means of the lugs. The containers may be mounted on a vehicle via angle-iron mounts and be used for compressed-air storage. They may also each form part of a hydro-pneumatic unit.
