1437826 Through flow cell LABOR MUSZERIPARI MUVEK 12 Dec 1973 [3 Jan 1973] 57561/73 Heading G1N A through flow cell comprises a reference electrode 8, an electrode 2 arranged with its sensing surface (its end) perpendicular to the flow (6 to 7) and means 5 for causing turbulent flow upstream of the electrode. The constriction causing turbulent flow is preferably about 0À2 mm diameter, and the distance of the electrode 2 from it can be varied by a screw (not shown). Electrode 2 is preferably silicone rubber based graphite and the reference electrode silver/silver chloride.
