1437396 Ventilation and dust suppression in mining machines COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd 18 June 1974 [10 Aug 1973] 37941/73 Headings E1F and E1X Dust particles and/or methane are dispersed from the vicinity of a rotary cutter 2 of a mining machine by directing an air flow inducing spray from nozzles 15 along a passage 12 extending through the machine housing. The nozzles may be placed at the end of the passage remote from or adjacent to the cutter head 2 to induce an air flow towards or away from the cutter head. More than one passage 12 may be provided in the machine housing
