Abstract

1437321 Plastics kegs BREW IT YOURSELF (MFG & EXPORT) Ltd 2 July 1973 [14 July 1972] 33190/72 Heading B8D A keg of transparent or translucent plastics, e.g. H.D. polyethylene, for brewing beer is provided with an upper, screw-capped inlet 2 and a lower outlet fitted with a draw-off tap 5 spaced above the base of an outwardly-domed bottom 4 so as to be clear of any sediment collected thereon. The keg is also provided with a hand-hold 6, a volume scale 7, Fig. 7 (not shown), and a ridge 8 for locating it on a vibration- and heat-insulating base 9 of expanded polystyrene.
