1435413 Hair-drying hood PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 12 March 1974 [21 March 1973] 10973/74 Heading A5R A hair-drying hood comprises a radial fan 4 which is coupled to an electric motor 2 supported by an arm 10, and a heating element 7, provided with electrical connections 11, 12, which surrounds the fan circumferentially, the connections being positioned in a region of impeded air-circulation caused by the interference of the motor-supporting arm 10 with the incoming air-stream. This arrangement of the connection points results in uniform cooling of the element and, additionally, cool airstreams which are produced by the passage of air over the cooler heater-element regions about the connections are eliminated.
