Abstract

1429779 Plugs TUP (PANAMA) SA 10 Oct 1973 [28 Nov 1972] 54946/72 Heading A4N A bath &c. closure device comprises a closure member 5 adapted to seal the bath &c. orifice and formed integrally with an elongated strap 6 having a handle 8, the members 5 and 6 both being formed from a synthetic thermoplastic material. The member 5 may include a deformable dome 7 with or without a ring (20), Fig. 4 (not shown), which extends into the drainage orifice. The members 5 and 6 may taper towards their edges. In a further embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), the closure member (11) is provided with a central sunken portion (12) which extends into the said orifice and the handle (14) has a reinforcing ring (15). It is stated that the thermoplastic strap adapts itself to the shape of the bath &c. in use.
