Abstract

1429698 Delivering sheets IZDATELSTVO "IZVESTIA" SOVETOV DEPUTATOV TRUDYASCHIKHSYA SSSR 5 Nov 1973 [13 April 1973] 51214/73 Heading B8R In apparatus of the general construction disclosed in Specification 1,389,641, there is provided in advance of the stack assembly zone a vertical drum 14, Fig. 1, rotatable by bevel drive from one of the stack-advancing rollers 3, one either side of the rollerway 1, so as to correctly align skewed piles entering the zone, and a plurality of pairs of similarly rotatable vertical rollers 18, Fig. 2, in the assembly zone to keep the stacks straight. Each S-shaped lever 6 is formed of two parallel plates, between which are freely rotatable a plurality of rollers 24 of oleophobic material to minimize friction between the lever and the bottom of a supported stack.
