Abstract
1425556 Electrostatic developer XEROX CORP 3 Jan 1973 [3 Jan 1972] 29823/75 Divided out of 1424452 Heading G2H An electrostatic developer comprises toner particles and carrier particles, each carrier particle having a core member and an outer coating of a material having 50 wt per cent or more of lead or of lead and zinc together. The material may be lead, an alloy of lead and zinc or a dispersion in a resin of particles of lead or lead-zinc alloy. The core members may be non-magnetic or ferromagnetic, and may be spherical. Preferably the coating is about 5 microns thick. Core materials which can be used are listed.
