Abstract

1425217 Photographic processing apparatus T W SLINGSBY, H C NEVILLE AND K A HEISE 26 April 1973 [22 June 1972] 19908/73 Heading G2X A photographic diffusion transfer type processing machine comprises a casing 12 transport means for negative and positive members and a tank 28 for developing liquid. The transport means comprises a plurality of transport elements, at least some of which are arranged in aligned successively spaced relation so as to define a substantially first path of travel through the casing for one member, and a guide 31 defining a second path of travel for the other member, said paths being so positioned in at least partially separated relation to one another that developer liquid in the tank can be applied to both members. As shown, the positive and negative sheets are fed in by rollers 34, 36. The negative sheet passes through bath 28 and the positive sheet passes between rollers 48, 60; the two sheets are then pressed together by exit rollers 70, 72. In embodiments, roller 72 may apply wash or fixer to the negative sheet Fig.2 (not shown) and a pivoted plate (110) may separate sheets 14, (16) before processing Fig.3 (not shown).
