Abstract

1423737 Gas-mantle supports AUERGESELLSCHAFT GmbH 30 March 1973 [1 April 1972] 15474/73 Heading F4T A gas-mantle support-ring 1 having an internal screw-thread 2 has part 4 of the side-wall of the ring cut away to enable air to enter the ring, and thus the interior of the mantle when mounted on the ring, to assist complete combustion of the gas. The cut-away 4 is extended by a groove 6 passing through the screwthread. The ring is of ceramic material.
