Abstract

1423574 Correcting the position of railway track FRANZ PLASSER BAHNBAUMASCHINEN - INDUSTRIEGESELLSCHAFT mbH 14 March 1973 [14 March 1972] 12227/73 Heading B7N [Also in Division G1] In an arrangement for correcting positional errors in a railway track in which a reference line extends from a corrected section past a correcting zone to a position in the uncorrected section of the track, a first sensing arrangement is provided for measuring the distance between the reference line and the track in the corrected section, a second arrangement measures this distance at the track zone being corrected and the shifting of the track in the correction zone is stopped when these measurements are in a predetermined ratio which can be modified by an operator to take account of the error in the position of the end of the reference line in uncorrected track.
