Abstract
1423231 Inverting M SINET 2 March 1973 [3 March 1972] 10327/73 Heading H2F In an A.C. source (e.g. for induction heating), a pair of transistors T8, T9 and a pair of capacitors C5, C6 are connected as shown across a D.C. supply, the transistors being driven by a variable frequency oscillator 2 driving a squarewave generator 1 so that when an inductor 7 is connected as shown, the power transmitted by the inductor is controlled by variation of the oscillator frequency in relation to the resonant frequency of the inductor 7 and capacitors C5, C6. As described, the D.C. is derived by a threephase bridge of diodes D1, D2. Opto-electronic couplings to the transistors is envisaged.
