Abstract

1422541 Insulating and supporting windings in dynamoelectric machines ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 9 March 1973 [11 March 1972] 11464/73 Heading H2A A stator with a yoke casing 1, magnetic poles 4, 5 etc. and windings 11 has resilient foam material 35 moulded in situ in the cylindrical annular region between the inner surface of the yoke casing and the inner surfaces of the poles, the foam being preferably of polyurethane, polyethylene or polystyrene; thermoplastic or duromeric foams may also be used. The windings 11 are formed by strip material 24<SP>1</SP> and intermediate insulating material 24, and are spaced from the poles and casing by straps 25 of thermoplastic, e.g. polyamide, presspahn or paper material. The windings may also be coated with P.V.C. by dipping therein. The moulded foam may form an insulating sleeve 30 for a lead 18.
