Abstract

1420476 Magazines for storing explosives DYNO INDUSTRIER AS 16 Feb 1973 [17 Feb 1972] 7700/73 Heading E1A A building to contain explosives and of cavity wall construction has the internal cavity filled with sand 8 and the cavity walls 2, 3 attached to a circular base plate 1 and surmounted by a roof which in turn comprises a beam structure 4 attached to the inner wall 2, a cover 5, 6 carried by the beams, a sand layer 7 on top of the cover and an outer roof covering 10 thereover. The cover 5 may be made of balsa wood and the sheet 6 of plastics material. The covering 10 is preferably made of re-inforced plastics and the building provided with insulation layers 10, 11, 12. For minor details of foundations, arrangement of roof beams, vent 14, doorway &c the Specification and remaining drawings, (not shown), should be referred to.
