Abstract

1418314 Knitting-machines COURTAULDS LTD 25 April 1973 [26 April 1972] 19319/72 Heading D1C A V-bed machine is provided with a fabric presser movable between the beds and mounted on a stiff carrying plate having freedom of movement laterally of the beds. The presser comprises two feet attached to the plate movable to bring the feet into operative positions alternately. The plate can be attached to a support by a pivot, or pins permitting lateral movement. In the embodiment of Fig 8 the plate 41 is free to move laterally on pins 116, and is releasably retained by a turnbuckle 118. In Fig. 10, the plate 41 is supported from a plate 132 by pins 131. The plate 132 is attached to support 42 by pins 133 and a spring blade 135.
