Abstract

1411933 Controlling copying machines KONISHIROKU PHOTO INDUSTRY CO Ltd 6 Feb 1974 [8 Feb 1973] 05557/74 Headings G2A and G2H A control device for a document copying machine comprises: a micro-switch MS 1 which switches from contact D to contact F after a predetermined number of cycles (e.g. 5,000) of operation of the machine to illuminate an indicator lamp PL and actuate a relay RL 1 that by closing a contact S 1 discharges a capacitor C 1 through a self holding relay RL 2 which latter closes a contact S 2 to provide a signal at terminal C for stopping the machine. Opening and closing of a master switch MS only momentarily extinguishes the lamp PL but permanently releases the relay RL2 thus cancelling the stop signal while keeping the warning lamp PL illuminated. Additional micro-switches can be included to stop the machine after further different pre-set numbers of cycles of operation.
