Abstract
1410640 Boilers NIKEX NEHEZIPARI KULKER V 9 Dec 1972 57102/72 Heading F4A A gas or oil fired boiler comprises two coaxial water jackets 1, 2 formed from metal sheets or plates defining a furnace chamber 3 with a burner aperture 10 and a flue 5 containing baffles 7. The embodiment shown is used for steam generation and is provided with a steam/ water drum 6-however, the boiler may be used for hot-water. If required, additional cooling can be achieved by passing the gases leaving flue 5 through further flues on the exterior of the two jackets. Flues can be provided within the water space in drum 6. The water jackets can be displaced axially relative to each other for repair and maintenance, and are releasably secured to the drum 6 for this purpose.
