Abstract

1410423 Cable ducting PLANET-WATTOHM 31 Jan 1973 [1 Feb 1972] 4852/73 Heading H2C Cable ducting of U-shaped cross-section has the bottom web 1 composed of at least two parallel walls 21 which define at least one passage 23 extending throughout the ducting and open at both ends, capable of receiving a stiffening element 24. The pair of parallel walls 21 may be connected by at least one partition 22 extending throughout the ducting to form a plurality of passages 23. A rim 5 with a projection 7 may be provided for snap-engagement of a lid 8 shaped to fit flush with the side flanges 2. The side flanges 2 of the U-section may each comprise pairs of parallel walls 3 defining passages 10, and may have at least one partition 12 defining an additional passage 11. The ducting is preferably extruded from plastics material.
