Abstract

1409816 Awnings FRANCIAFLEX 16 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53032/72 Heading E1J An awning comprises a support 1 with oppositely directed lips 1b, 1c on which are mounted a part 20 supporting a rolling-up bar 22 and a part 2 on which a hinged arm is pivoted, one part 20 or 2 being secured by a locking clamp allowing attachment and removal from the support without sliding. Part 2 is split and secured together with a locking screw 2e. The arm has a fork 17 connected by a pin to a sleeve 3. carried on a disc 4. The disc is rotatably adjusted in a hole in part 2 by a screw 16, to produce the required inclination of the awning. The other end of the arm is connected to stretcher bar 24 by a pivot pin (32), screw (30) allowing adjustment of tension of cloth 23, and part (26, Fig 6, not shown) adjustable in position along the bar.
