1409731 Reducing optical noise UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY 29 March 1973 [17 March 1972] 12674/72 Heading G2J An optical system incorporating a spacial filter 6 in a transport plane and two collimating and focusing lenses 4, 7, and illuminated by a laser 2 is intended to spacially filter a transparency 8. To reduce optical noise due to the coherent source either one of the lens and the spatial filter are oscillated such that the system is always in register.
