Abstract

1407555 Venting I C engine crank-cases FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 24 July 1973 [28 Aug 1972] 35197/73 Heading F1B I.C. engine has a bore 4 extending from the rocker box to the crank-case and passing through the cylinder head 1 and cylinder block 2, the bore having located concentrically within it a tube 5 supported by fins 6 and 7. Fumes from the crankcase pass upwardly through the tube and oil from the rocker-box drains to the sump through the annular space between the pipe and the bore.
