Abstract

1406235 Door panel BENDIX HOME SYSTEMS (UK) Ltd 20 Nov 1972 [19 Aug 1971] 38995/71 Heading E1J [Also in Division B5] A panel (e.g. a door) comprises a peripheral frame 1 having two outer facing panels 2, 3 retained in respective recesses 4, 5 in the frame, the space between the panels being filled by an in situ foamed plastics, e.g. polyurethane, and the panels 2, 3 being so dimensioned as to permit some play towards and away from each other in the recesses before filling the space with foam. The plastics may be injected through an aperture in one panel which is later to be cut away to form e.g. a window in the door.
