Abstract
1405605 Auxiliary contact device for a contactor LA TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE 6 Dec 1972 [8 Dec 1971] 86387/72 Heading H1N An auxiliary contact device with time delay mechanism for use with a relay or contact has a pivoted contact member 4 with bearings 5 on opposite sides of a timing belows 2. The figure shows the member 4 with its contacts in the inoperative position and arranged so that downward movement of a coupling member 10 makes a lever 19 operate the member 4 to a position in which it is latched by a lever 27 (Fig. 2, not shown). On deenergization of a contactor 12, 13, 14 the belows 2 expands at a rate set by the air flow permitted by a control knob 3 and at the end of its movement unlatches the lever 27 to permit a spring 9 to restore the contacts to the position shown. A rod 33 permits optional manual operation.
