Abstract
1404670 Drawer cabinets ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd 4 Dec 1973 [20 Dec 1972] 59699/72 Heading A4B [Also in Division B8] A shell and drawer unit comprises a rectangular open fronted shell formed from a first folded blank Fig.1, of stiff material, e.g. corrugated fibreboard, and a drawer formed from a second folded blank Fig.2 of stiff material, the shell being formed in its top 13 and bottom 10 walls and adjacent its rear wall defined by flaps 16-18 with slots, such as 19 in the bottom wall, one of the slots being formed when a flap 18 is bent downwardly whereby a locking tab 20 extends upwardly above the top wall 13 to expose the slot, the tabs 20 and slots 19 facilitating stacking of similar shells by inter-engaging their tabs and slots. The drawer blank includes extension flaps 35 which locate through slots 33, 34 in the sides 26 and bottom 25 of the drawer to project below the drawer bottom to act as stops which are engageable with a flap 14 reversely bent into the interior of the shell to prevent complete removal of the drawer from the shell.
