Abstract

1404344 Endless conveyers HI-SPEED CHECKWEIGHER CO Inc 9 June 1972 [9 June 1971] 12663/74 Divided out of 1404343 Heading B8A The subject matter of this Specification is included in the parent Specification but the claims are concerned with an endless conveyer having article carriers each provided with a magnetically attractable portion, the carriers being movable transversely of the normal path of the conveyer and means being provided for separating certain of the carriers to form at least two lines of travel. The carriers are thereafter re-positioned into a single line of travel prior to positioning at least some of the carriers of the single line into engagement with an upstream portion of a magnetic guide surface.
