Abstract

1402473 Containers R NOHMURA 14 Dec 1972 [23 Aug 1972] 57793/72 Heading B8D [Also in Division B1] Concrete is produced by enclosing predetermined amounts of sand, ballast and cement, A, B, C in a container 30 having an opening 32 at the top and bottom, each opening closable by a lid 35, the container is placed in a rotatable drum 21 and water is added to the mix, compressed air is also added to bring the container into pressure contact with the drum, rotation of the drum when inclined produces the concrete. The container has a belt 31 by which it can be placed in a drum and removed for movement on a sight to a required location. Each opening 32 has a tube 33 attached thereto; the container is made of glass fibre and resin sheet. Drum 21 is rotated by a motor attached to an outer cylindrical member 13 via a chain and sprocket 26. Member 13 is tiltable by means of a motor driving worm 18 and wheel 15.
