1399647 Medicines comprising phenoxy alkoxy-chromones FISONS Ltd 5 Dec 1973 [15 Dec 1972] 57903/72 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Novel compounds (I) and their pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives in which R<SP>1</SP> is hydrogen or hydroxyl, X is C 3-10 alkylene and E is carboxyl or S-H-tetrazolyl are antagonists of SRS-A and form with a carrier diluent or adjuvant, a pharmaceutical composition which may be administered orally, rectally or by inhalation. The composition may contain a bronchodilator (isoprenaline).
