Abstract

1397925 Infusion liquid containers EVANS MEDICAL Ltd 12 June 1972 [15 June 1971] 27938/71 Heading ASR [Also in Division B8] A cap for a container for infusion liquids comprises a peelable seal 3 having an area printed with a heat-sensitive ink which changes colour when the capped container is heat treated to sterilize it. The seal 3 is secured by pressure sensitive adhesive to the annular flange 2 and via the central hole 6 to a rubber plug (not shown) in the neck of the container. The seal may also be printed to indicate the contents or convey information. The heat-sensitive ink smudges if the seal is partly or wholly removed.
