1397885 Clips SPRINGFIX-BEFESTIGUNGSTECHNIK GmbH 25 Oct 1973 [27 Oct 1972] 49690/73 Heading E2B A clip for securing a rod or cable 35 to a panel 33 at an aperture 34 comprises a plate, Fig. 2, divided by slots 6, 7 into two sections which are both bent into similar U-shapes having inturned extremities 4, 5, and joined at their bases 3, 10, the part which engages the aperture being recessed for the purpose at bent-in lugs 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and the other part having a pair of key-hole or like holes 13-18 which so tilt, in use, as to grip the rod. In a modified form, the rod is gripped by bent-up tabs (37, Figs. 8-10, not shown).
