Abstract

1397236 Welding by fusion BRITISH OXYGEN CO Ltd 13 Feb 1974 6586/74 Addition to 1280147 Heading B3R The invention of the main Specification 1,280,147 is modified in that the composite electrode is formed by feeding at least one tubular electrode and at least one solid electrode through different orifices 5, 6 in a common nozzle member 7, electrical contact between the electrodes being maintained via the nozzle member. Spring loaded shoes 10, 11 in the orifices 5, 6 make electrical contact with the electrodes 1, 2.
