1396410 Laminated glass-fibre-polystyrene panels EPS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT) Ltd 31 July 1973 [16 May 1972] 22821/72 Heading B5N [Also in Division B8] Panels and boards from which containers such as boxes may be fabricated or which may be used as partitions or bulkheads, comprise a sheet of expanded polystyrene (or a laminate including such a sheet) having glass fibre material, which is consolidated by an emulsion or a vinyl acetate or vinylidene chloride homopolymer of copolymer, on one or both faces. The polystyrene sheet may be extruded or beaded. Moulding and folding techniques for making boxes are disclosed (see Division B8).
