Abstract

1395947 Prefabricated portable buildings LEVINGSTON-ARMADILLO INC 25 July 1972 34654/72 Heading E1A A prefabricated building of modular room unit construction is provided with lifting means to facilitate its relocation to which end the building, Fig. 1, is (a) arranged with upper room units 12 on lower room units 11 which in turn are mounted on a common base 10 and (b) upright lift members 34, Fig. 3, are disposed inwardly of the sides and ends of the building, are secured at their lower ends to the base, are each provided with an upper connector portion 35 recessed in a ceiling panel and are connected to a spreader frame formed as an integral part of the roof. The wall and ceiling panels are of sandwich construction with a honeycomb core and the building is provided with a fibreglass covering 25. For minor details of spreader frame, connector portions, covers therefor and a slightly modified multi-storey building the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown), should be referred to.
