Abstract

1394940 Liquid, mixed herbicide compositions E I DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 20 July 1973 34634/73 Addition to 1263619 Heading A5E A liquid herbicidal composition having low temperature stability, comprises (a) 15 to 50% by weight of a mixture containing 1 part by weight of 1-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)-3-methoxy-3- methylurea and 1 to 3 parts by weight of a chloroacetanilide which is alachlor or a mixture of propachlor and alachlor; and (b) a liquid solvent for component (a) which is at least in part an aromatic hydrocarbon, an aromatic halogenated hydrocarbon or an aliphatic halogenated hydrocarbon. Optional ingredients are emulsifying agents and cosolvents such as phenol, cresols, resorcinol and alkylbenzene sulphonic acids.
